Bluffton Area Community Association schedules free 'Back to School' fun day

Kevin Libby said the Bluffton Area Community Association will host a back-to-school fun day on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Oscar Frazier Park, 77 Schultz Road in Bluffton, offering free backpacks filled with school supplies, games, bounce houses, face painting, free food, informational vendors and participation by the Bluffton Fire Department. "The free family friendly event will feature free backpacks filled with school supplies, games, bounce houses, face painting, free food, Kona ice, informational vendors, and the Bluffton fire department," Libby said in the bulletin.
Libby noted that the event is timed ahead of the county school start date (transcript: "This is the final weekend before the 1st day of school, which is next Friday, August 7 for Beaufort County School students").
