During the warrant review, Commissioner Mike Arzy asked why Road and Bridge crews received Mine Safety and Health Administration training rather than Occupational Safety and Health Administration training. County Engineer Ken Muller replied, "it is because their workers operate in pits, which requires MSHA safety training." Arzy also proposed "including a not-to-exceed amount for the library elevator project and ensuring any unused funds are returned to the county." The board voted to approve the warrants as presented.
