A county staff member said, "we're gonna have a special meeting of the Solid Waste Committee to address that after this meeting," and commissioners said they would work with the contractor to clarify acceptable vehicle and trailer types and the fee policy.
Rogers cited County Ordinance 50 (updated in 2023) while asking whether the routing decision was the county's or the contractor's; county officials did not dispute his account on the record but indicated they will examine contract terms and operational rules at the upcoming Solid Waste Committee session. The board did not take formal action today; the special committee meeting was scheduled to follow this session so staff and commissioners can report back with details.
