City Clerk Cassandra Redd told the council that commuter parking permits have increased as residents return to in-person work and that staff are pursuing system improvements to better serve seniors. "The Passport team understands our need to better serve our residents in particular ways that we can look to help our senior population," she said.
Redd described recent meetings and training sessions with the Passport Incorporated team to address technical issues and software limitations. She said the goal is easier use for residents and office staff, fewer mechanical failures and better reporting to support permit administration.
