Commissioner Brandon Core, who also serves on the county historical commission, told the board he did not think the county commission intended to allow a historic designation without the property owner’s consent. The board agreed to review an amended draft on or before the September meeting and to send it to Michael Poston for input prior to scheduling a public hearing.
