Commission authorizes $138,846.01 KDOT federal‑to‑state fund exchange for 2025

Road & Bridge Superintendent Jim Meier presented the Federal Fund Exchange agreement and explained the county’s historic exchange percentages. Commissioner Becky Reimer moved to authorize the exchange for FFY 2025 and to authorize the Assistant County Administrator to sign the agreement. Commissioner Terry Scott seconded the motion; it passed unanimously.
The exchange is intended to allow the county to use state funds at the approved exchange rate to pay for eligible road projects and maintenance activities administered by the Road & Bridge Department.
