Wahkiakum commissioners authorize bid work for courthouse generator, flag $50,000 funding gap

The Board voted to support drafting the bid documents (M/S/A Letham, Tischer); the motion passed unanimously with Commissioners Tischer, Letham and Daniel Cothren recorded as voting Aye.
The authorization directs Renfro to move forward with procurement documents; no contract award or final funding source was decided at the meeting. The county will need to identify the remaining funds before a construction contract can be executed. The Board did not set a timeline for bid release or vendor selection during the session.
