An applicant (Bill) presented a subdivision application with much of the acreage in neighboring Olive but the bulk of the secondary lot in Marbletown; the board accepted the application for review and scheduled a public hearing for August 24. The board discussed intermunicipal jurisdiction, assessor/parcel valuation issues, and the need for coordination with Olive on ingress and frontage matters.
Staff and board members noted that Olive's planning board had asked for a full application and that the towns would likely coordinate reviews; the planner agreed to do an initial review and the board directed staff to set the hearing and notify the involved jurisdictions. The board also classified the matter and will expect subsequent materials ahead of the August 24 meeting.
