A staff member presented a cost estimate including material and a labor share; the board discussed which fund could cover the expense and concluded the special parks and recreation fund — which receives a portion of local liquor tax — had sufficient balance to pay the materials invoice. ‘‘I'll move for the cost for the Fairgrounds parking lot of $4,406.33 to be taken out of the special parks and recreation fund,’’ a commissioner said; the motion carried by voice vote.
Staff were directed to process the payment and include the cost in the fairgrounds maintenance records.
