Staff and the mayor discussed paving options. Public works staff explained the city does not currently have funding to repave all candidate subdivision streets (an estimate of approximately $1 million for multiple roads was cited), but recommended Crossroads as a priority due to its condition and the number of residents served. Staff noted the city has about $360,000 in LMIG funding available locally (combined with an additional $200,000 grant opportunity applied for earlier in the year) and that paving programs accrue service over months once RFPs are issued. Council directed staff to proceed with the UGA questionnaire and to include Crossroads in upcoming capital and grant planning work.
