Board approves Hotel Park beautification concept, authorizes fundraising

"So I would ask that you approve this concept along with the, ability for us to fundraise as needed to accomplish these tasks," Scribe said, and trustees voted to approve the concept and the fundraising request. Town Manager Caleb Patterson confirmed there is $5,000 remaining in prior PPRTA funds that can be reimbursed for project work; the board permitted incremental work to begin as money is raised.
Trustees discussed specifications for access (millings versus more durable surfaces) and requested that design and access details be coordinated with Public Works to avoid maintenance conflicts. The board also encouraged continued public engagement and noted that some elements (retaining wall, sidewalk width) may affect snowplowing and budget priorities.
