Chamber of Commerce reports small net gain, previews events and membership growth

Jim Roland, president and CEO of the Payson Chamber of Commerce, presented the chamber’s quarterly report to the council, summarizing membership, events and finances. Roland said the chamber welcomed 28 new members, recently hired two staff (a secretary and COO), and produced stronger first‑half finances.
"We generated $46,190 in total revenue against $44,208 in expenses," Roland said, reporting a net positive of $1,982 for the first half of the year. He previewed forthcoming events including a Payson hometown market (planned for next year on the downtown lawn), the Grama to Great workshop (October 22), and the annual awards gala on February 4 in Santaquin. Council thanked the chamber for engagement and noted the budget included chamber support.
