Commission adopts 2025 county holiday schedule, pay dates and board appointment list

On Dec. 19 the Randolph County Commission approved a list of county holidays for 2025 that includes standard federal and state days and designates Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve as full-day holidays for county employees. Commissioner Siler announced courthouse closures and Commissioners voted to align county closures so county employees will have Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fully off.
Commissioner Kesling read and the commission approved a list of commissioner board appointments for 2025 and employee assignments (for example, Kesling — Custodians/Maintenance; Siler — 911/OEM; See — Dog Warden). The commission also approved the calendar of pay dates for 2025 as submitted.
