The Meridian City Council adopted Resolution No. 26-2592 on July 28, 2026, approving the fall 2026 fee schedule for the Meridian Parks and Recreation Department.
Nick White, presenting the department's proposal, told the council the fees before them were for the next fall activity guide and "these activity guide fees do not include nonresidents," clarifying that the schedule covers the program fees as presented. No members of the public signed up to give testimony on the item, and after staff remarks the council closed the hearing and approved the resolution by unanimous voice/roll call.
The action places the new fee schedule into effect as adopted in the resolution; the council did not alter the staff recommendation in debate and recorded an all-aye vote in roll call. The adoption followed a motion to amend the evening's agenda to add items from a canceled work session so they could be considered at tonight's regular meeting.
The council did not receive or solicit additional written or oral amendments to the Parks & Rec fee item during the meeting. The resolution number and the formal roll-call approval are entered in the official minutes of July 28, 2026.
