County finance staff presented January financial reports and a comparative view of current‑year and prior‑year results. The presenter said operating expenditures were at about 50.44% of budgeted levels (below the 51.6% target) and summarized fund performance across the textbook, construction and cafeteria funds. The presenter noted two loans remain outstanding and that a bank loan carries a payment schedule extending to 2042.
On revenue and transfers, the presenter summarized property tax collections and a projected net revenue‑expenditure position. A supervisor requested copies of the slides and the presenter agreed to email the materials to the board. "As of now, we have only 2 loans left. Collectively, about 66, $34,000 outstanding," the presenter stated in the slide narration; staff said they would provide the full supporting documents to supervisors by email.
