Shawnee school board returns from executive session and votes to take no action

The Board of Education of Independent School District No. 93 returned from executive session at 8:39 AM on Sept. 24, 2024, and announced that the matters discussed in closed session were those listed in Item B and that no other matters had been discussed. Following the return to open session, Turner Bass made a motion, seconded by Jeanne Swinney, to take no action on the executive-session items; the motion carried with a recorded vote of Yes: 7, No: 0.
The minutes record that Board President Clif Harden then moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 AM; the minutes state that motion was unseconded. The minutes include an attestation and show the minutes were approved on 10-7-24 with Secretary Wendy Tucher noted in the record.
