The motion to convene cited 25 O.S. § 307 (B)(2) for personnel matters and 25 O.S. § 307 (B)(4) for confidential communications with counsel; it was made by Turner Bass and seconded by Mandy Hillhouse and carried 7–0.
The minutes list the board members present and note that Dr. Teresa Wilkerson and the district's legal counsel, Justin Cliburn, were present physically during the executive session. The special session began with roll call at 8:00 AM at the Board of Education administration building in Shawnee.
