After holding a public hearing with no speakers, the Woodbury County Board opened bids on a parcel (parcel ending in 6002, West First Street). The board announced an opening bid of $244; Annaie Arellano bid $340 and was identified by name at the microphone. Chair moved to accept the bid and the board voted to sell the property to Arellano for $340.
"Opening bid is $244 ... 340," a caller said during the auction, and the bidder identified herself: "Ana h I ... my last name is Arellano." The board then approved the sale by voice vote and instructed Heather to complete paperwork for the buyer.
The sale followed the public‑hearing procedures outlined in the agenda — the hearing was opened for comment, no members of the public spoke for or against the sale, and the board closed the hearing prior to accepting bids.
