City posts 2025 CHIP pre-application; outreach to follow

Planning Director Jeff Kaiser said the city has received final paperwork from the state for the 2025 CHIP grant program. Kaiser said staff posted a brochure and a funding pre-application on the Building and Planning grants page of the city website and included instructions for completing and returning the pre-application. He asked the committee to approve outreach to get the information onto the city's social media channels so eligible residents can find guidance and applications.
Kaiser said staff have placed the brochure and pre-application online and will coordinate with communications staff to promote it. “A brochure as well as a funding pre-application had been put on the website,” Kaiser said. Council members asked staff to work with communications to reach residents who may be eligible.
