Superintendent outlines budget timeline, audit finding and enrollment ahead of June budget deadline

The superintendent also announced a finance committee meeting for May 23 and a full-board budget workshop on June 9, reported current enrollment at 4,021 and average daily attendance of 93.23%, and said TEA conducted an intruder-detection audit on May 5 that produced one finding to be addressed in executive session. Graduation was scheduled for May 23 at Eschenburg Field; administration listed hiring updates and personnel contracts in the board packet.
