Counsel noted that the city council had approved a related resolution authorizing extension of utilities outside the city limits, as required under applicable statute. The motion authorized the mayor to execute the necessary documents.
No financial consideration to the city was stated; engineering and maintenance responsibilities inside the easement were described as limited to the portion dedicated to the city after construction.
