Local entrepreneurs highlight business growth and community ties

They emphasized local hiring, supply‑chain advantages from proximity to the airport, and community partnerships with city departments, the police and fire departments. "We are really fortunate to be in Ontario because there's so much growth," Mark Smith said.
Other presenters described services available to residents, including the Library's Lightspeed makerspace—where staff said patrons can use laser cutters, 3D printers and sewing machines with a library card—and the Carpenters Union training center, which leaders said trains apprentices locally to keep wages and jobs in the community.
