Finance staff review capital-planning template and 2026 personnel cost projection

Finance Director Anne Lockyer reviewed the template departments will use to list and justify capital improvements (over $5,000) as part of capital planning and presented year-to-date financials.
Lockyer said three-quarters of department budget meetings are complete and projected a 2026 budget cost of approximately $350,000 for COLA and step increases. Staff have begun a dual-payroll process to compare the new payroll system to the old. Chair Stanek also requested an update on the status of the county fleet program currently under development.
