The Vernon County Finance Committee voted unanimously June 17 to approve a 2025 budget amendment transferring $8,318.11 to cover repairs of audiovisual equipment in the County Board Room.
"Approve a resolution to amend the 2025 budget to transfer $8,318.11 from acc’t # 10.05113.5336 to acc’t # 10.05111.5710 to cover this cost, and forward to the full Board with a recommendation for approval," the motion said. Supervisor John Pedretti moved the measure and Supervisor Charlie Jacobson seconded; on a voice vote, all present voted in favor.
The expense was described in the minutes as an unbudgeted replacement of key AV components. Committee members voted to send the resolution to the full Vernon County Board for final approval, which is the next procedural step before funds are transferred.
