Rangely officials praise rally turnout but urge clearer organizer communication

One council member said, "I just think more communication from Rally Colorado needs to happen other than to say, 'hey, this is what we're doing' because some of the promotional stuff I read toward the tail end of it is that this turned into a super regional' and that was not told to us." Another official said enforcement activity did increase but that attendees were "extremely well behaved."
Council members suggested convening a planning meeting with all stakeholders (chamber, EMS, fire, restaurants, parks) when rally organizers return to town to coordinate lodging, traffic and resource needs for future events.
