Jackson County’s Board of Supervisors voted June 16 to approve the fiscal year 2027 RCTP agreement with the city of Springbrook, subject to the city’s local contribution. Jayden Shekel, introduced to the board as the county’s inspection/road staff, explained Springbrook has signed required paperwork and will carry local fiscal responsibilities for the project.
Board members confirmed the agreement had been vetted and approved by staff prior to the meeting and moved to authorize county participation. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
