County awards $992,206 contract to expand Sheridan County Airport long-term parking

Sheridan County commissioners on April 21 authorized a $992,206 contract to Wagner Ranch Services, LLC to expand the long-term parking lot at Sheridan County Airport.
Airport Manager Robert Gill recommended the low bid, telling the board the amount was under the engineer's estimate and had been reviewed by FAA and Wyoming DOT officials. Gill said the project "was not originally in the capital improvement budget but can be funded from the airport's capital accounts." Commissioner Lonnie J. Wright moved to award the contract and authorize the chair to sign associated documents; the motion passed unanimously.
The board recorded no conditions on funding beyond using airport capital accounts. The project award follows standard procurement review and will proceed under the contract documents authorized by the chair.
