County Budget Officer Eda Schunk Thompson presented the amendment, saying it includes a $225,697 increase in revenue to the capital facilities tax fund and a $54,459.10 increase in expenditures to cover IT licensing, equipment and software maintenance. "a $225,697 increase in revenues for the capital facilities tax fund" and "$54,459.10 increase in expenditures for IT costs" were the figures Thompson cited during the presentation. Commissioner Mike Arzy moved to adopt the resolution; the motion passed unanimously.
The resolution authorizes transfers within existing funds to cover the adjustments; Thompson indicated the change corrects an oversight in the initial FY26 budget. The board did not record any dissent and took no further public comment before voting.
