Council discusses pulled‑forward low‑zone tank expansion and grant strategy

"So the low zone tank expansion, Shane is working on, getting a grant for that one," a council member said while staff confirmed the location and that added storage is shown as a build‑out improvement. The earlier amount discussed in 2021 (~$1.4 million) had been updated on current slides to roughly $4.9 million.
Council members agreed a successful grant would change the city's funding calculus and asked staff to continue seeking outside funds while returning with contingency plans if the grant does not materialize.
