Council approves multimodal grant applications totaling millions for streetscape and bridge projects

Council also approved applications seeking up to $3,000,000 for the Elm Street bridge replacement and $1,600,000 for North Washington Avenue and Adams Avenue streetscape improvements.
The chair declared each item legally and lawfully adopted after roll-call confirmation. Councilmembers said the grants align with ongoing downtown and neighborhood improvements and stressed that award decisions remain subject to Commonwealth review and final agreements.
