Zamora said the parks operation added bilingual part‑time staff to improve customer service during high activity months and plans targeted program metrics to ensure responsible use of city resources. Planned capital work includes repairs to the pool and staff parking, new backboards at Park and Finch basketball courts, vinyl/board replacements, reconditioning riverfront volleyball courts, and upgrades to boat-ramp decking. Council asked staff to provide more precise revenue estimates and to review the timing of any roadwork where water-main replacement is planned.
