The Anamosa City Council approved several resolutions and routine administrative items during its March 24 meeting.
By resolution (2025-12) the council set a public hearing on proposed property taxes for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 for April 7 at 6:00 p.m. at Anamosa City Hall (motion by Rich, seconded by Todd). The council also approved Resolution 2025-13 to designate two disabled parking spaces and permit required signs on the west side of North High Street.
Separately, the council approved the annual GIS services renewal agreement with HR Green (citywide services excluding the cemetery) and asked staff to confirm whether GIS data are digitally stored and transferable should the city change vendors. The council also approved payment of $2,475 to EC COG for the flow EQ basin project.
Next steps: staff will publish the property-tax public hearing notice and follow up on GIS data-transfer confirmation with HR Green.
