Commissioners approved both requests by voice vote and noted the work is typically scheduled during harvest to minimize impact on main roads and the agricultural community.
County staff confirmed these cooperative projects do not affect the county's general fund for ongoing operations; materials and contract costs for the improvements are financed through the requesting cities or associated special funds. Commissioners instructed staff to coordinate timing so work aligns with local construction cycles and material price fluctuations.
