Westbrook said the plan "is to improve ADA access to the project, which currently doesn't exist" by extending a path from the rear parking lot and creating an accessible entry to the front door; the proposal also relocates a porch to the rear courtyard and builds a glassed‑in room on the same footprint.
Westbrook added that the project includes trim and gutter repairs, snow guards and drainage work to address ongoing water intrusion that has contributed to wet basements in neighboring buildings. Board members confirmed a 0‑foot setback in the rear and asked for scale clarifications; testimony closed and the board approved the application as submitted.
