Kristen Kaiser, art teacher and outdoor advisor, described trip logistics: two nights camping, activities including hiking, canoeing, a ropes course and class-4 whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. "I am a whitewater guide myself, so that's an added bonus in the boat," Kaiser said, and added she would drive the van and accompany students. The motion to approve the trip was moved and seconded and carried unanimously.
