Citizen asks about Church Street ditches; board approves minutes, treasurer’s report and addresses other routine business

At the start of public comment, resident Russ Kramer asked whether the village intended to put additional riprap in the ditches further down Church Street. President Shingleton said she would have staff inspect the ditches and asked Joe McFarland to observe.
The board handled routine business before moving to other agenda items. Trustee Wolff moved to approve minutes from the previous meeting and Trustee Ross seconded; the voice vote was unanimous. Treasurer presented the Treasurer’s Report and the Bills Payable; Trustee Wolff moved to accept and Trustee Dalton seconded and the board approved payment of bills by unanimous voice vote.
President Shingleton distributed updated Village Handbook information and asked members to flag any questions or suggested changes. She also reported receiving a May 21 call from Shawn of JAX Mass Transit about transporting visitors to the Boardwalk on Saturdays; she left a message and said Shawn may attend a future meeting to address the board.
The meeting adjourned at 8:06 p.m. on a unanimous voice vote.
