The board considered replacement of playground mulch and possible repairs to Pavilion siding and gutters.
President Tina Shingleton reported mulch pricing and removal estimates: "Cost for mulch $2,310. Hileman’s Bobcat Service to remove old mulch and replace with new mulch. Cost $3,000. Total for all $5,310," she said, adding that Dan and Randy might be able to handle removal depending on workload. The board discussed alternatives to contracting out the removal to reduce cost.
Dan also reported he met with Judge Services to inspect siding, soffit and guttering at the Pavilion and the Community Center entrance. The board authorized staff to accept a reasonable bid so repairs can proceed this month if possible; Trustee Cardenaz offered to look at the soffit and possibly fix it himself.
The meeting record did not list a specific vendor award for the mulch replacement or a firm repair contract; staff were directed to return with confirmed costs and schedules.
