Makanda board reviews $5,310 playground mulch estimate, authorizes pavilion repairs bid

Total for all $5,310," she said, adding that Dan and Randy might be able to handle removal depending on workload. The board discussed alternatives to contracting out the removal to reduce cost.
Dan also reported he met with Judge Services to inspect siding, soffit and guttering at the Pavilion and the Community Center entrance. The board authorized staff to accept a reasonable bid so repairs can proceed this month if possible; Trustee Cardenaz offered to look at the soffit and possibly fix it himself.
