Council selects Brian Chase for Belvedere representative seat on ranch board

Council members said they were impressed by both Chase and fellow candidate Madeline ("Maddie") Short — several councilors noted Short’s familiarity with ranch programming and volunteerism and Chase’s finance and program ideas. Vice Mayor Wilkinson and others said Chase’s background made him a good fit for the board’s current needs on finance and programming.
Chase said he would commit to attending meetings and contributing to program development; the council thanked both applicants and noted that alternates and future openings will be considered.
