At the close of the Nov. 18 meeting, Committee member Arnie Gottlieb moved to approve the structural changes as presented, explicitly reserving final approval of signage, lighting (section 3102), rear deck materials (including railings and decking) and a more complete landscaping/site plan. The motion was seconded by Lindy Bowden and passed unanimously.
Chair Kit Wallace noted that the Design Review Committee issues recommendations and that final permitting and parking decisions lie with the Planning Commission and, if necessary, the ZBA for setback variances. The committee requested the applicant return with detailed sign and lighting specifications, deck materials and a complete landscaping plan for final review.
