During the Jan. 15 meeting the Committee passed multiple routine resolutions: authorizing mailing and advertisement of 2025 tax-sale notices (Resolution 2025-39), authorizing an electronic tax sale in accordance with statutes (Resolution 2025-40) and appointing Kimberly Carter as booking clerk in the Police Department (Resolution 2025-41).
Each resolution was moved, seconded and approved unanimously. Committee members also approved audited vouchers totaling $357,190.87 and approved Committee reports and meeting minutes (with one abstention recorded for Mrs. Shaw on the Jan. 2, 2025 reorganization minutes). The actions were recorded as routine municipal housekeeping required to maintain tax and personnel operations.
