Selectboard approves pay request as timber framing finishes on new Town Office

The Dorset Selectboard approved the most recent pay requisition to Naylor & Breen for construction of the new Town Offices. The motion to approve Pay Requisition No. 4 passed 3-0.
Town Manager Rob Gaiotti reported that timber framing is complete and that trusses should go up soon; Naylor & Breen are expected to have the building closed in by early winter. Later in the meeting staff noted foundation work and vault construction are underway and that the project remains on budget though slightly behind schedule.
