A Dorset property owner raised concerns about vehicle speeding on Route 30 north of Dorset Village during the Selectboard’s public-comment period on Nov. 19. Cliff McKinney told the board he has observed excessive speeds and suggested new signage and increased enforcement as remedies.
The board discussed possible solutions and reached consensus to look into purchasing and locating a radar speed sign for that area of Route 30. The action was recorded as a board directive to research options rather than a formal motion with a recorded vote.
