Board hears Bridge Home ARPA report and Center for Creative Justice update
Summary
County staff and partner agencies briefed the Board on the Bridge Home ARPA-funded program and the Center for Creative Justice’s service statistics and client surveys; partners outlined sustainability planning and program partnerships.
Ashley Raske, Director of Operations, presented the Bridge Home American Rescue Plan Act annual report, describing program logistics, partnerships and the clientele served. Amber Tompkins of Central Iowa Shelter & Services summarized a new agreement and the program’s sustainability plan.
The Board also received an update from Staci Shugar, Executive Director of the Center for Creative Justice, on the organization's mission, service metrics and client survey results. The presentations provided outcome and operational information; staff and partners will continue to coordinate on program sustainability and reporting requirements.
