County receives three bids for Tedesco Environmental Learning Corridor shelter and restroom

Mike Cox, Director of Parks, and Ryan Wiemold, Parks Superintendent, opened bids for the Tedesco Environmental Learning Corridor shelter and restroom. Giardino Construction of Polk City submitted the low bid at $879,600; R.H. Grabau Construction bid $890,000 and GTG Construction bid $921,890.
Cox said the parks department will review bid bonds and proposal details and return to the Board with a recommendation for contract award and next steps once the evaluation is complete.
