The Assembly took up several resolutions by voice vote on the floor. The chamber adopted a legislative resolution memorializing Governor Kathy Hochul to proclaim Feb. 24–Mar. 2, 2025, as Eating Disorders Awareness Week in New York (Assembly No. 127) and another memorializing Feb. 17, 2025, as Random Acts of Kindness Day (Assembly No. 128).
Members also commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Frederick Allen Elks Lodge No. 609 and the Mary A. Carter Temple No. 362 of Saratoga Springs. Miss Warner described the organizations' long history of community service and cultural events.
Separately, the house adopted a resolution mourning the death of Norma Lucia Gonzales, highlighting her civic leadership and service to the community; the speaker and members offered tributes on the floor.
