Board swears in two new Anderson firefighters

He recently graduated from EMT school," Chief Cravens said of Devin Swinford, and the chief described Bryson Carter as a 19-year-old Anderson resident with firefighter 1 and 2 certifications, rescue technician, EMT and HAZMAT qualifications. Committee member (S2) moved to swear both recruits in; the board voted to approve the swearing-in. The recruits recited the oath to support the U.S. and state constitutions and discharge duties to the Anderson Fire Department.
