On Oct. 9 the Planning Commission voted 5‑0 to recommend that the City Council approve a conditional‑use permit allowing a Riverwood model home at 65 West Glen Way (0.5 acres) to be managed by owner and applicant Kameron Chancellor of Nilson Homes. City staff reviewed the application and recommended approval with specific conditions: obtain a South Weber business license; provide adequate off‑street parking including at least two visitor spaces; submit a signage and lighting plan; note and approve hours of operation; and ensure required infrastructure is completed per the Subdivision Ordinance prior to construction of the model home.
Commissioner Chris Roberts moved to recommend approval to the City Council, with Commissioner Julie Losee seconding. The motion carried 5‑0. The conditional‑use permit decision is a recommendation to the City Council, and the time limit, parking and signage provisions included in the commission's recommendation will be part of the council packet.
