Ross Valley Sanitary District staff have reviewed proposals from five developers for the surplus Larkspur Landing property, General Manager Steve Moore reported at the Feb. 18 board meeting. Staff interviewed each developer and said best and final offers are expected by Feb. 27.
Moore said the Board will hold a special closed session to discuss terms of a real estate contract and that a final recommendation will be presented to the Board at the regular March 18, 2026 meeting. The Board took no immediate action on disposition at the Feb. 18 meeting.
Why it matters: disposition of surplus district property can produce long‑term revenue or operational changes and typically requires careful review of developer proposals, terms and community impacts before the Board approves any sale or long‑term agreement.
