RVAMAC hears update on county noise control ordinance and local concerns

According to the meeting record, "County continuing to work on an ordinance for the BOS approval that would include a provision for fines." The sheriff clarified the ordinance would apply only to amplified sound and "does not apply to tractors or roosters." Council member Lourance Hall asked how the rule would affect events at the Recreation Center, expressing concern that complaints could be filed against those gatherings.
