Sevier County Emergency Services Committee members heard on Feb. 9, 2026 that the county’s Public Safety Building construction and renovation project is on schedule and set to open in Fall 2026. Director Andrew Whaley of the Department of Central Communications provided architectural proofs showing the planned E-911 space in the new facility. Committee members reviewed the renderings and discussed how the layout will accommodate the county’s dispatch operations.
